Dr Kimberly Schreck

About

Kim works part-time and flexibly for the ELEMENTAL mission hub, assisting with general administration, including the promotion of partner achievements and funding opportunities, and maintaining databases and the website. She especially enjoys liaising with the early career researchers and championing their contributions, as well as ensuring that the hub’s commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion is at the forefront of all events and outreach.  

Serving as a hub coordinator is adjacent to the extensive and varied experience Kim has had in higher education, including lecturing in the fields of History and Gender Studies (US), learning and teaching administration, student support, and HE policy (UK). When she is not supporting the ELEMENTAL hub, she enjoys mentoring neurodivergent students and growing things on her allotment.
