Phillip Price- Partner, European & UK Chartered Patent Attorney- www.dehns.com/people/phillip-price/

With expertise at the intersection of biotechnology and intellectual property, Phillip Price is a Partner at Dehns and a European and UK Chartered Patent Attorney. After graduating from the University of Oxford with a master’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry, Phillip joined Dehns in 2006 and became a partner in 2023.
Phillip advises small and medium‑sized companies, technology transfer offices, and R&D‑based ventures on IP strategy, patent portfolio development, and freedom‑to‑operate issues. He has particular experience in developing IP portfolios and strategies from scratch, drafting and prosecuting patent applications, and handling post‑grant proceedings, infringement and enforcement matters.
His technical expertise spans a broad range of biotech innovations, including biomaterials, biologics, diagnostics, synthetic biology and industrial processes, making him a trusted advisor for science‑driven start‑ups seeking strong, actionable IP strategy.
