"Microbes to the Rescue" Short Story Featured in Green Stories Anthology
Drs Louise Byfield and Sigrid Kusch-Brandt from the Environmental Biotechnology Network have published an anthology of short stories related to Environmental Biotechnology.
The anthology, produced in collaboration with the Environmental Biotechnology Network (EBNet) and the Green Stories Project, showcases imaginative stories that explore real-world environmental innovations and solutions.
Written by author Charlotte Baker, “Microbes to the Rescue” draws on research into bio-based methods for metal recovery, bioremediation, and circular economy strategies. The story brings these technologies to life through fiction, highlighting how science and storytelling can work together to inspire action and awareness around environmental challenges.
